Job Summary

The Digital/Website Copywriter will capture the principles and values that built the 1st Formations brand and showcase our amazing product suite.

You’ll work side-by-side with multiple internal stakeholders to create and own messaging across our websites that excites, educates and inspires our customers to want to learn more about our products and solutions.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and passionate with the ability to turn complex topics into accessible and engaging copy which speaks to our target audiences. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly and highly creative team a play a pivotal role in our continued growth journey.

Responsibilities

  • Create compelling and engaging content and edit copy across multiple websites
  • Work with our internal teams to bring concepts and ideas to life
  • Ensure digital content meets briefs, is in line with brand guidelines and tone of voice and is optimised for SEO and UX best practice
  • Build out content and new pages in company’s content library
  • Influence and guide internal stakeholders by providing insightful, constructive feedback
  • Ensure all content published is factually accurate and has been ratified in line with the company approval process
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure collaboration and joined-up thinking
  • Use data to inform the effectiveness of content and to drive continuous improvement and increased engagement.

Required Experience

  • Adept at producing all forms of copy
  • Corporate, educational, and explainer script writing experience
  • Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
  • Skilled at adapting tone of voice for different brands and audiences
  • Excellent writing ability with the ability to write in different styles and to other people's direction
  • Strong proofreading and editing skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, often to tight deadlines
  • Solid research and analytical skills to gain an accurate understanding of complex subject matter
  • Collaborative spirit

Education

Degree qualified in related field
