Position Overview & Specifications
Class A CDL - Heavy Duty Tow Truck Driver:
Summary: This company is looking for various levels of Tow Truck Operators (from Light duty Automobiles to Heavy Duty Tractor Trailer Combinations, pay is dependent on class of Towing)
The Employee mustprovide a high level of customer service by performing emergency road service, towing, accident recovery, police impound towing and/or abandoned vehicle recovery using assigned truck and towing equipment in a professional, safe workmanlike manner as trained. Perform timely and correct logging with dispatch, of paperwork, daily reports and/or other necessary documentation.

· San Francisco, Hayward, Redwood, San Jose
Duties:
· Respond to calls dispatched to you in a safe, timely manner. Provide roadside assistance in a safe, professional manner, free of accidents, injuries, or damage.
· Communications with dispatch shall be professional and informative as relates to information necessary to document your status as well as accurate ETA’s when requested.
· Safe driving behavior is a must. Obey all traffic laws, drive defensively, always wear your seat belt, maintain a 4 second following rule, minimize backing and left turns.
· Safely disengage brakes for driveline or axle removal.
· Arrives at work on time daily, ready for duty when shift starts; well groomed, wearing clean uniform. Always looks clean and professional.
· Invoices and paperwork are prepared legibly, correctly and on time for processing. Submits drivers daily at the end of each shift.
Responsibilities / Qualifications:
· Must be 25 years of age or older.
· Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and Medical Card.
· Must pass a Pre-employment drug screening.
· Must pass a background check.
· At least 6-months of experience utilizing a Class A CDL in a professional environment.
· Ability to drive a manual shift vehicle.
· Ability to work outdoors in all-weather elements.
· Willing to learn and take direction.

Pay:
· $70,000 - $170,000 depending on Towing Experience and equipment operations (from Light Duty Consumer Towing to Heavy Duty Trucking Towing)
Schedule:
· 40-hour week
· Overtime Available
· Weekend rotation
· Multiple shifts available (Day and Night shift)
Licenses and Certifications:
· Class A CDL (Required)
· Wrecker Permit (Preferred)
· Clean driving record
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
