Neighbourhood Caretaker

JOB TITLE: Neighbourhood Caretaker
LOCATION: Working within the community, around various locations in Croydon
PAY RATE: £15.06 hour PAYE
START DATE: asap
DURATION: 3-month initial contract

Hours: 36 per week/ 9am-5pm /Mon-Fri

DBS: No

Driving License : Not required but would be ideal

Ideal Skill Requirements

• Understanding of COSH
• Able to carry out maintenance

• Ideally have experience of Caretaking previously

• Understanding of other Council contracts, i.e., waste management, FRA, and to escalate where necessary.

Role Purpose

• Responsible for ensuring that cleaning of housing properties meets or exceeds the agreed standards and frequencies to all internal areas.
• Carry out effective secondary monitoring of estate services received by Housing, such as Veolia and Grounds Maintenance.
