Job Description

The role of Social Media Manager Assistant Dental business will involve:

Strategy Development

Developing social media strategies aligned with the company's goals and target audience. This involves managing the development and engagements of key platforms to focus on, determining the content mix, and setting goals for engagement and growth.

Content Creation

  • Creating engaging and relevant content for social media platforms, including text posts, images, videos, and other multimedia formats.
  • This involves planning and scheduling content, as well as adapting content to suit each platform's requirements.

Community Management

  • Building and managing a community of followers and fans on social media platforms.
  • This includes engaging with users, responding to comments and messages, and fostering positive interactions.
  • It may also involve addressing customer inquiries or concerns.

Social Media Advertising

  • Working with ads specialist to ensure paid advertising campaigns on social media platforms to increase brand visibility, reach new audiences, and drive traffic or conversions.
  • This includes setting budgets, targeting specific demographics, and monitoring campaign performance.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Monitoring and analyzing social media metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of social media efforts.
  • This involves tracking follower growth, engagement rates, website traffic, and other relevant data, and using insights to optimize strategies.

Trend Monitoring

  • Staying up to date with the latest trends and developments in social media marketing.
  • This includes identifying new platforms, features, or techniques that can be leveraged to improve the brand's social media presence and reach.

Collaboration and Coordination

  • Collaborating with other departments, such as Sales, Clinical, and Customer Service teams, to ensure social media efforts align with broader organisational goals and messaging.
  • This may involve coordinating social media campaigns or promotions with other teams.

Brand Management

  • Ensuring brand consistency across all social media channels and maintaining a positive brand image.
  • This includes following brand guidelines, tone of voice, and visual identity when creating content or engaging with the audience.

Crisis Management

  • Handling any potential social media crises or negative situations that may arise.
  • This involves addressing customer complaints, managing online reputation, and taking appropriate steps to mitigate any damage to the brand's image.

Continuous Learning

  • Staying informed about the latest social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.
  • This includes attending webinars, reading industry publications, and participating in professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge in social media management.

The Successful Applicant

The suitable candidate for the role of Social Media manager Assistant will;

  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in content creation, with a strong understanding of content pillars, content calendars, and grid planning.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with graphic designers and ads specialists to bring content to life.
  • Superior knowledge of social media platforms, including a deep understanding of trends, best practices, and channel management, particularly on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
  • Advanced research skills, both primary and secondary, to gather insights and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Able to conceptualise original creative campaigns.
  • Strong leadership qualities.
  • Experience with Facebook and Google advertising (Paid Campaign, SEM,SEO, Audience targeting).
  • Strong self-starter, excellent interpersonal skills, and demonstrated ability to interact with management and peers.
