Maintenance Assistant

Are you an experienced Maintenance person with a big heart? Do you want the chance to make use of your skills but also make a difference to the lives of others?

Your role will include:

• Working closely with the Maintenance Manager or nominated colleague to make sure that our residents live in a place that is safe and well maintained at all times
• Ensuring that regular safety checks and servicing is carried out on all equipment and accurate records are kept.
• Having excellent communication with the Home Manager and also the Residents
• Basic plumbing and electrical maintenance
• Clearing and Cleaning general areas
• Assembling furniture
• Painting and decorating

You must have excellent communication skills with Managers, Colleagues, Residents and Visitors to the Home.
