Plant Operative

We have an exciting opportunity for a plant operative to join our team at our Salford Asphalt operation. This role is fast-paced, dynamic, extremely varied and challenging, however also very rewarding for someone who genuinely cares about customers and enjoys working with other like-minded, hard working people.

The job starts at 5AM from Monday to Friday and it requires some nights as well.

Key tasks range from welcoming customers, up-selling products, processing orders, operating the plants control system, operating mobile plant and undertaking light maintenance tasks including housekeeping duties, along with night production. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about their work and is looking for employment with a company who, in return for their commitment and hard-work, genuinely cares about their safety, health, wellbeing , job satisfaction and career development.

• Strong IT literacy.
• Flexibility with work hours and willing to work weekend.
• The desire for training and willingness to learn.
• Loading Shovel experience is a plus.
• You will need to develop a sound appreciation of Health & Safety, housekeeping and environmental regulations
