JOB DESCRIPTION

The Financial Analyst will create and prepare insightful financial and people-metrics reports and dashboards for the executive team, investors, and Board. He/she will provide thoughtful, value-add analytics, and build dynamic, excel-based financial models to support decision making. He/she should thrive working independently and have a keen eye for detail. Excellent excel skills required including: v-look-ups, IF statements, pivot tables, graphs. It is highly preferred this role be in the Belfast, Northern Ireland location.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collect, validate, and analyze data and prepare dashboards and financial reports with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Create complex financial models to support decision making.
  • Performance Measurement - Including but not limited to; key performance indicators, budget vs. actual flux, financial statement analysis, trends/drivers.
  • Ad Hoc Analyses and special projects
  • Assists the Finance department in the day-to-day operations of accounting and finance
  • Processes required paperwork for employee transfers, changes in job classification, salary increases, and other related employment matters.
  • May assist with preparation of human resource reports such as attendance, new hire, and turnover reports.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must possess expert level skills with Microsoft Excel. Prefer knowledge of Power BI or other data visualization tools.
  • Intermediate to expert PowerPoint skills required.
  • Salesforce.com experience helpful.
  • Bachelor's Degree. Major in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • 2+ years of related experience in Finance/Accounting. Must have familiarity with financial metrics and accounting principles.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to problem solve and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work successfully with teams, handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills and attention to detail
