Position Overview & Specifications
Airways Aero Associations is an aviation company responsible for the managing and operation of Wycombe Air Park, a general aviation airfield based on the edge of High Wycombe. Recently we have created an exciting new opportunity to be involved with every aspect of airfield operations.
The new role involves front desk operations, fire cover, aircraft movement and air ground control duties. The job will be operated on a roster pattern which will be decided quarterly. This unique, highly diverse, dynamic and flexible job is perfect for anyone interested in any part of general aviation.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Enter customers onto and manage as part of a team the flight booking system
- Operate on the airfield reception dealing with enquiries from trial lessons through to hangar customers
- Aircraft movement in and out of hangars
- Airfield Fire & First Aid cover
- Aircraft refueling
- Air-Ground Communications from the airfield tower
- Basic accounting processes to support the above functions
Candidates will ideally demonstrate the following qualities:
- Hard working

- Have a good knowledge of computer systems including word and excel
- Have very good customer service skills
- Be willing to learn and adapt in a growing business
- Have excellent interpersonal skills
- Good teamwork skills
Working Hours
08:00 to 17:30, 37.5 hours per week on average in accordance with the published roster, including weekends.
