LGV C+E Driver (HGV Class 1) / Operative (4on 4off)

LGV C+E Driver (HGV Class 1) / Operative (4on 4off) required for our logistics company with an outbase in Stratford-upon-Avon. 5+ years experience of LGV C+E required. Full Moffett forklift training will be provided to the successful applicant.

As a leading provider of concrete barriers and blocks for hire and sale to property sites and highway maintenance schemes throughout the entire UK mainland, we predominantly deliver our own products. In addition to this, we provide general multi-drop haulage with Moffetts for other external customers.

We require a committed individual who is customer focussed with excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret maps and plans for the placing of barriers and blocks. In addition to this, they will need to be able to work both under their own initiative and as part of a team. Full training will be provided. The job involves undertaking a wider range of duties when compared to a typical driving job - flexibility and a strong work ethic is required. It is not RDC work.

Start times vary: typically between 0330hrs and 0600hrs. The days and hours worked may change at any time in the future to meet business requirements, if required.

Plenty of overtime, both during the week and at the weekend, is also available and is a requirement of the job.

Rates are as follows (all shifts with paid breaks);

£17 per hour on weekdays. 12 hours guaranteed.

£19.50 per hour on Saturdays. 10 hours guaranteed.

£22 per hour on Sundays. 10 hours guaranteed.

Night out allowance £28.00.

Nights out for most of the week will typically be required. This can vary throughout the week subject to our workload.
