Alchemy is working with an established gallery in London which is looking for a new Gallery Assistant to join its international team.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing the day-to-day administration of the gallery
First point of contact with clients
Assisting with Art Fair preparation
Responsible for shipping arrangements
Overseeing all relevant shipping paperwork
Assisting with import and export
Helping with art fairs
Some international travel

Key Requirements:

Previous experience at a commercial art gallery or auction house essential
Excellent organisational & communication skills
Understanding of general administrative duties within the art world context
Excellent writing skills
Attention to detail
Fluency in additional languages is desirable

This job is five days per week, including one weekend day
