Dog Trainer

Alfie and Tuckers is a newly established pet store and service provider under our established parent company.

The position available is for a ‘Dog Trainer'

This is a part time position (with the potential to grow), between 0 - 20 hours per week spread throughout the week ( Monday – Sunday ). This may increase at certain times of the year as workloads increase. Typically trainers will are provided with direct scheduling softwares allowing their clients to book autonomously and allowing the trainer to pick their availability.

The position will require the trainer to undertake 1 to 1 training services, group classes, online resource creation/ moderation and remote services. The role is open to expansion as the business grows and our services evolve.

All Trainers are responsible for their own bookings with flexible working hours.

Trainers will be provided with private contact details for potential clients and access to a further training program.

For the ideal applicant a contract + overtime will be made available, otherwise this position will be a part time position. Starting wage is qualification dependent, any additional training undertaken will increase hourly rate.

Applicants must have experience and recognised qualifications to be considered for this role, all applicants must submit their qualification title ( Reference Numbers if relevant ) to be considered.

A minimum of an accredited Level 3 Dog Training/ Behaviour certificate with 1 year professional experience is required.

Applicants must have qualifications provided by or linked to:

. University Degree in Animal Behaviour ( or equivalent )

. IMDT Certification

. Level 3 Dog Training and Advanced Behaviour ( or equivalent )

. Online provides such as VSA, BCCS, CIDBT, or equivalents will be considered alongside professional experience

. Other recognised Dog Training certifications accepted on a case by case basis

Applicants must have their own vehicle and a full clean UK driving licence for face to face training sessions. Any physical equipment required will be provided upon request.

Pay is weekly on a Friday.

Potential applicants must have character or professional references which will be checked.
