Finance Assistant

Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking a Finance Assistant based in Bristol for an industrial pump company.

Salary: £27,000 - £30,000
Location: Bristol
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full time
Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm, Fridays 8:00am - 1:30pm

The role…

As the Finance Assistant your role will involve the following important duties:

• Chase missing invoices and processing a weekly supplier payment run
• Ensure revenue forecasts and expenditure forecasts are up to date and correct.
• Raise invoices and chase employees for expenses.
• Enter daily cash movements from the bank into the ERP system.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Enter all supplier invoices and nominal payments onto the accounting side of the ERP system.
• Approve/assist in the set-up of new supplier accounts.

The experience required…

As a successful Finance Assistant, you will have the following:

• Several years of experience working in a finance/accounts assistant role.
• AAT, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Excellent attention to detail and mathematical skills.
• Strong IT skills with proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
• Good communication skills both written and verbal.
