General Factory Assistant

Having grown the business over the last 30+ years to where we are now, we are at an exciting turning point and looking to expand our inhouse production team.

Based in our Factory in Bridgend you will be working on an array of projects, we are looking for a General Operative to join our team and help drive forward our passion for what we do.

Working as part of a small team we are looking for the right person who is self motivated, ambitious and able to work independently to complete the tasks to our high standards.

Working hours - Monday to Friday 40hrs per week 7:15 - 15:45. Breaks will be staggered to ensure continuous production within the factory.

Job requirements will be, but not limited to:

- Loading and Unloading of deliveries, Packing of materials for customers.

- Provide assistance to the production floor manager with lifting and moving materials for cutting/ pressing.

- Provide assistance to the paint shop with set up and strip down – Aluminium Sanding, Pre treatment works of aluminium.

- General maintenance / cleaning of production floor.

- Any work deemed necessary to assist in the production of goods or running of the production floor.

Desired:

- Previous Experience working within a production factory.

- Forklift licence beneficial but not essential.

- Good physical fitness as manual handling will be required in this role.
