Junior Plant Engineer

Golborne Location (WA3) – Adhoc travel required to other UK locations

Monday to Friday - Salaried circa £40,000 per annum + Excellent Benefits & Progression

Purpose

Support the UK plant engineering and maintenance department in delivery of projects across ALPLA UK sites – Reporting to Regional Plant Infrastructure and Engineering Manager

Tasks & responsibilities: (Not limited to)

• Implement 3D design of plant and infrastructure projects – utilising software applications such as AutoCAD
• Create tenders for infrastructure projects
• Management of contractors for project installations – supporting project managers.
• Supporting ISO50001 energy management data analysis and projects
• Supporting development of maintenance management software
• Commit to continuous professional development through training and mentoring from senior management

What makes you great

Education / Experience:

• Minimum HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 1 year experience working in industry, various backgrounds/environments considered
• Strong experience in AutoCAD 2D and 3D
