Location: Across Anglian Water Region

The role will be based from Osprey House in Huntingdon/Peterborough 2-3 times a week with the rest of the week based from home.

Come and join the newly formed AVH Solar Business who work within Anglian Water Holdings (part of Anglian Water Group) as our Solar Commercial Operations Manager. You will be responsible for the commercial and contractual development and delivery of the AVH (Anglian Venture Holdings) Solar Programme, overseeing multiple schemes simultaneously at various stages of the programme lifecycle.

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring successful delivery of business objectives related to the programme. You will work closely with the programme delivery team, EPC Contractors and Project Finance Lender, to ensure the programme is delivered on time, on budget and to the required quality standards. Its an exciting time to join as our Solar Commercial Operations Manager as you will also support the identification and development of new commercial opportunities to develop a pipeline and help grow the business.

What you’ll be doing:
Programme Delivery - Lead, coordinate and drive delivery of the solar programme at a strategic and tactical level as required, focused on successful outcomes; GWhs delivered, P&L, revenue, on time, within budget and to required quality

Contract Management - Lead and coordinate with confidence, using technical knowledge to manage milestones and governance requirements across multiple contracts including; Portfolio Agreement, Solar Call-Off Agreement, EPC and O&M

Commercial Management - Challenge commercial offers and assumptions for solar pv installations

People responsibility - Take responsibility for the daily operations of the programme delivery team and Lead and support the them through the full lifecycle of programme delivery

What does it take to be successful?

Our ideal candidate will have experience in a similar programme or commercial role and working in a fast paced project environment alongside:

• Experience in Land acquisition and negotiation, DNO Grid application process and Planning Permission processes
• Experience in managing FIDIC Silverbook EPC Contract
• Works to deadlines and can plan and manage own and others workload
• Electrical/other renewables background advantageous
• Working knowledge of CDM 2015 Regulations · Health and safety qualification – NEBOSH
• Strong people skills, collaborative, approachable, engaging and supportive
• Commercial and contractual acumen in renewables industry
• Be able to analyse data, triangulate and make recommendations and decisions
• Experience of working in a start-up environment
