Due to APEM’s continuous growth our Flight Operations Team are now searching for a Flight Operations Assistant to join their supportive team. The Flight Operations Team are a key component to the successful running of our Data Operations function within our Geospatial sector. This team works closely with our internal Aerial Survey teams, data operations and external providers to deliver high quality aerial surveys.

You will be involved in some exciting work including supporting coordination for external aircraft providers, collating survey plans for multiple crews, ensuring the safe installation and maintenance of camera systems and conducting flight watch/flight tracking.

Please note that this role is a full-time office based role in Chester.

About you

You will have previous experience working in a volume, fast-paced administrative role with an aviation related qualification and/or experience. Due to the nature of the role we need you to demonstrate that you are able to manage multiple priorities coupled with a high level of attention to detail.

You will also need a good understanding of weather monitoring, weather patterns and their implications for aviation. The ideal candidate will be someone that is ambitious and wants to join an organisation that is rapidly growing and is genuinely making a difference; in return you’ll enjoy much variety in your day-to-day tasks and be given career development and opportunities.
