Are you looking to expand your skills and enhance your career to include providing Complex Clinical Care or do you already have Complex Care experience?

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support our male service user based in York.

In return, we can offer a permanent contracted position of 24 and 36 hours per week, there is also the opportunity for additional shifts.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job and enjoy delivering one to one support.

Our service user is an adult male who lives with his family in York and requires a friendly and confident care team to support him throughout the day and night, on a 2:1 basis.

He enjoys watching films and football, listening to music, and playing poker.

Our ideal applicant will have a bubbly personality, whilst being confident, reliable and patient with a genuine interest in working with our service user and able to build positive relationships with him and his family.

A welcome bonus of £150 is currently being offered to all candidates who come through for this position!

Essential Experience Required

• 3 months previous care experience
• Personal Care
• Moving and Handling
• Medication Administration

Desirable Experience

• Knowledge of Motor Neurone Disease
• Ventilation Management
• Tracheostomy Care
• Oral Suctioning
• Gastrostomy Care (PEG feeding)
• Bowel Management

We have the following shifts available;

• Full time and Part Time
• Days- 8am-8pm
• Nights- 8pm-8am

This is a contracted position of 24 and 36 hours per week + additional if wanted

Weekdays £15.00 per hour Approx. £180 per 12 hour shift

Weeknights £15.50 per hour Approx. £186 per 12 hour shift

Weekends £16.00 per hour Approx. £192 per 12 hour shift

Bank Holiday £20.00 per hour Approx. £240 per 12 hour shift

Due to this role being contracted we also cover the cost for your DBS and training
