Role Overview & Responsibilities
Since 1944 AD Construction Group has established itself as a well-regarded refurbishment contractor providing building maintenance services within the public sector, predominantly to local authority housing associations. Working as a close-knit team the organisation has successfully proven time and time again its ability to be a serious competitor in the construction industry.
To aid and support to the quantity surveyor working for an appointed team, from pre-contract tender stage through to final account, ensuring the effective financial management of contracts awarded.
You will be enrolled onto a HNC in Construction and the Build Environment, funded by the Company.

You will gain knowledge in:
- Maintaining accurate cost and value records for the works
- Ability to conduct effective negotiations with both client and subcontractors
- Experience of the tender and procurement processes
- An understanding of the principle of measurement of works
- Controlling and capturing costs
Essential skills/knowledge:
- Driving license
- Computer literate, experience with excel, word and outlook
- Ability to use own initiative and work without supervision at times
- Good communication skills
Package
- Salary - £14,000 to £20,00 + vehicle allowance
- Hours – Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (1hr for lunch)
- Holiday + bank holidays and Christmas closure
Additional Information
- DBS check will be carried out on your behalf at the company’s expense
- At the interview stage you will be required to complete an aptitude test
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Six Month Probationary Period
