Position Overview & Specifications

Arya House is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Support Engineer to join our young, diverse, and innovative team. As a Support Engineer, you will play a vital role in providing technical assistance and ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' websites and web applications. You will work closely with our clients, project managers, and development teams to deliver exceptional support and resolve any technical issues that arise.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to clients via various channels, including email, phone, and ticketing systems.

Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues reported by clients, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

Collaborate closely with developers and other teams to investigate and resolve complex technical problems.

Guide clients in using web applications, offering clear explanations and step-by-step instructions.

Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of support requests, actions taken, and issue resolutions.

Monitor website performance and proactively identify potential issues or areas for improvement.

Perform website updates, content uploads, and basic configurations as needed.

Continuously improve support processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and provide recommendations for system enhancements and improvements.

Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, ensuring a positive support experience.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably in a web development or software environment.

Strong knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and content management systems.

Familiarity with web hosting environments, domain management, and DNS configurations.

Experience with troubleshooting tools and techniques, as well as remote support tools.

Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.

Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to non-technical individuals.

Self-motivated and able to work independently, while also being a team player and collaborating effectively with others.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with web development frameworks, server-side scripting languages, and databases is a plus.
