Position Overview & Specifications
Ashgrove House are looking for care assistants, part time or full time, to complement our amazing team. We are located in the lovely village of Purton and are proud of our Outstanding service. Our home is a caring, supportive 'family' environment with a cheerful vibe. In order to maintain excellent outcomes and standards for our residents you will :
- ideally have some experience of caring with older people, people with dementia and physical frailties.
- possess or be prepared to work towards your Care Certificate or NVQ/QCF level 2, or above, qualification.
- have a caring and compassionate nature, take pride in your work and always strive to achieve positive outcomes for our residents.
- be willing to work a varied shift pattern to include alternate weekends, and to be a flexible team player.
- be passionate about standards of person centered care
- We will offer you full induction training and ongoing training and support to develop your career further if you wish to.
We do not offer sponsorship for overseas applicants so you will need to have the right to work in the UK. You will also need to be residing in the UK at the time of application so that you can attend a face to face interview. Due to our semi-rural location and restricted bus service you will need to have access to your own transport. Part-time hours: 24-37 per week
Salary: £11.00-£11.60 per hour

- Care home: 1 year (preferred)
