Year in Industry – HR Co-ordinator

Are you studying Business, HR, IT or even Engineering? Would you like to learn how people make a business successful? We are looking for someone with fresh and exciting new ideas to join our team for 1 year from September 2023.


Day to day you will make a difference by…


  • Supporting line managers with all necessary support to ensure focused ongoing people management.
  • Liaising with managers and candidates during the recruitment process.
  • Completing reference checks for candidates when offers have been made
  • Arrange for offers of employment to be sent to candidates once completed by the HR team
  • Compile pre-employment paperwork to be approved by the HR Team
  • Conducting company inductions for all new employees
  • Ensuring that good standards of data quality and protection are adhered to at all times
  • Responding to employee queries by maintaining the HR e-mail inbox
  • Collating and managing existing HR records and maintain accurate and up to date employee data on HR systems
  • Producing internal reports
  • Providing day to day support for colleague, team and candidate logistics
  • Supporting global and division HR methodologies
  • Process invoices, raise Purchase Orders and process manual payments when required
  • Create vendor numbers and arrange concur access where appropriate
  • Visiting our UK sites occasionally according to business needs
  • Identifying any improvements in our processes

The person we are looking for is….


  • Enthusiastic, driven and motivated. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to work within an innovative, forward thinking HR team.
  • A student in their penultimate year of university preferably studying HR, Business, marketing / communications, or engineering.
  • Interested in learning how people management contributes to continued business success.
  • Someone with good business understanding and awareness with an interest in current industry trends & news.
  • Confident to suggest improvements and engaged with opportunities to learn and grow.
  • Flexible and willing to travel within the UK & Ireland occasionally.
  • Organised and able to multitask in a busy environment whilst seeing tasks through to completion.
  • Always seeking to improve and confident to actively seek feedback, appreciate and use constructive criticism.
