Exhibition & Events Crew

As a member of our crew, you'll get to work behind the scenes at some of the most exciting events and exhibitions in town, while helping to create unforgettable experiences for our clients and their guests.

We are a London based Events and Exhibition Agency who primarily work in locations based in London and the surrounding areas, supplying staff to some of the largest Exhibitions across the U.K. Our work however, is not limited to this as we also work in various venues nationwide.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a member of the team, you will assist with deliveries, removal of supplies and furniture throughout the event space. Collaborative working, and team work is a large part of the job, so you will also be assigned to help other teams with projects as needed. You will be required to be professional and discreet in all circumstances throughout the exhibition. This is a labour-intensive role, and involves standing and moving for long periods of time. You must be able-bodied and willing to carry at least 14 - 23kg (35 - 50 lbs). A proactive mindset, resourcefulness and quick thinking will help you to succeed in this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

EXHIBITION CREW

• Loading / unloading furniture from lorries.
• Furniture distribution
• Handling exhibitor queries (customer service)
• Working from exhibition floor plans

EVENT CREW

• Setting up and breaking down events
• Building and breaking down temporary stages and seating structures
• Rigging/De-rigging Sound, AV and lighting equipment
• Set Building

SHOW LEADER

• Assist with crew job
• Liaise with clients/organisers
• Oversee and train crew
• Manage timesheet

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• Prior experience in_ furniture removal or a warehouse environment_ is essential.
• You must be able to read and follow basic floor plans and instructions.
• You must be able to work well under minimal supervision
• You must be able to stand for long periods, and participate in physical work and heavy lifting.

A Full UK Driving licence is beneficial, but not essential.

To do this you will be required to_ download a mobile app. This app will allow you to view details of available shifts, sign up for them, and receive notifications about any changes and updates. It also allows you to view your schedule, clock in and out, and communicate with the rest of the crew. This innovative app gives you all the flexibility you need, whether you opt for full-time or part-time work._

Please note the dress code is all black, and you MUST have safety boots/shoes.

Our Crew rates start from £10ph and go up depending on experience.

Our Show Leaders rates start from £12ph

Our drivers rates are £15ph

Main Locations: Olympia (Hammersmith), Excel (Docklands), BDC (Islington), Old BillingsGate (BillingsGate), Battersea Evolution (Battersea).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract

Salary: £10.00-£15.00 per hour
