IS Operative

Following the recent acquisition of Future Specialist Industrial Services by Augean and our continued growth and expansion of the industrial services business, we are recruiting 10 IS operatives to work from our Paisley Depot. This role will involve travel across Scotland and potentially England, therefore requires a degree of flexibility.

The work we carry out will sometimes involve working away from home and nightshift, as well as some weekends.

The types of work we carry out include;

• Tank cleaning
• Boiler cleaning
• High pressure water jetting
• Confined space entry and rescue
• Use of breathing apparatus
• Removal of liquid and solid wastes

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar industry and experience of confined space working and HP jetting, as well a current certification within both these areas.

Safety is our top priority, we value our people and we want everyone to be safe at all times. Due to the physical nature of the work and the safety risks involved, a good level of fitness will be required.

Some of the contracts we have require working long hours in harsh environments and we reward our people for their hard work.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £11.00-£23.00 per hour
