We are now excited to be recruiting a Clinical / Educational Psychologist to join and help us on our exciting journey!
Location: Doucecroft School, Eight Ash Green, Colchester, CO6 3QL
Salary: Competitive salary (depending on experience)
Hours: Part-Time or Full-Time (Term time only; 2-5 days considered)

About You:
As a Clinical or Educational Psychologist you will undertake assessments, formulate pupil plans and deliver therapeutic interventions for pupils with ASD and associated Mental Health needs. The psychologist will also be supporting a like-minded multidisciplinary team consisting of Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists and other clinical staff.
If you currently are a second-year trainee clinical psychologist with the University of Essex and you would like to apply for a third year placement with us, you can also apply for this post. If successful, the post will be offered to you upon qualification without any need to reapply.

The Role:
- Work integrally and alongside the Therapy and well-being team to assess and formulate the psychological needs of new and existing pupils within the school.
- Delivering individual and group therapy, where required
- Delivering training and consultation to the wider professional team
- Supervising assistant and Student psychologists
Experience:
- Doctorate in Clinical or Educational Psychology, registered with the HCPC - essential
- Experience or interest of working with children who have an Autism Spectrum Disorder – essential
