Full time Permanent Class 1 HGV C+E driver wanted for days in Magna Park

Full-time Permanent Class 1 HGV driving position in Magna Park, near Lutterworth in Leicestershire

Day shifts

6am - 8am start times

Weekend shifts available with overtime paid

Annual salary of £37,250 per year for your 45 hours a week, with overtime paid on every hour above this.

Monday to Friday £16.00 p/h with overtime available

20 days holiday per year, plus 8 Bank Holidays

Pension enrollment within 3 months

Average shift 10 to 12 hours

As our HGV 1 Driver you will be trunking from Magna Park to Teesside and Exeter, delivering and collecting palletised non-hazardous home furniture goods.

Drivers will either collect stock from our customers directly and deliver them into our depots, or running internal trunking lanes between our different depots around the country, making full use of the drop and swap with stand trailers.

PM Shift times will vary to suit the job on the day, but drivers will be made fully aware of what runs they will be allocated to the following day.

Drivers will be paid for 45 hours per week (breaks not included), plus any overtime hours they may work.

Each driver will also benefit from having ‘their own' truck allocated to them.

With load and offload facilities at each end, drivers will not be expected to get on the back of trailers to load or unload the vehicle, but of course if they wish to they can. We will also offer weekend work in peak periods too, but again this is not compulsory'.

REQUIREMENTS

Valid and current CPC required.

Class 1 license held for at least two years.

No more than 6 points on license.

Drivers must understand and adhere to all EU driving regulations.

Excellent customer services skills are essential

Good Written and Verbal English essential.

EXPECTATIONS.

Driving at all times in a safe manner.

Delivering in a safe manner complying with all relevant legal and company procedures.

Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly Carry out start/end checks as per the procedure.

Ensure vehicle loaded safely and correctly.

Keep truck clean at all times.
