Position Overview & Specifications

General Summary:


The position is primarily responsible for performing manufacturing or packaging duties within the Manufacturing Department while ensuring the highest quality product and meeting customer specifications and delivery requirements in accordance with Avient policies and procedures.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Obtains the correct documentation for the batch
  • Ensure the correct materials are delivered to the work area.
  • Sets up and starts production machinery and equipment, checking all controls and guards for adherence to operating/safety procedures.
  • Notifies appropriate personnel of any issues, problems or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Perform all required machinery cleaning
  • Complete and maintain documentation either on computer or hard copies as required
  • Follows and complies with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintains departmental housekeeping standards.
  • Under guidance participate in all training required in each process area within the Manufacturing function.
  • Other duties as reasonably required by Line Management.
