Group Strategy Associate – Salary of Circa £60,000
Location – London

A bit about the job:
The Group Strategy team supports the Group CEO, Group ExCo and plc Board in developing and refining Aviva’s Group Strategy. The team’s work is across the breadth of the organisation, developing strategic plans that align to all business lines, markets, and functions. This work delivered in this role will be a key contribution to driving the growth ambition of the business.
You’ll need to enjoy solving challenging problems, with a solution focused approach. The Group Strategy Associate has responsibility for workstreams within strategy projects. You will be accountability for driving the production of the underlying analysis that will support the Group Strategy team’s strategic insights and recommendations.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
  • Effective and confident verbal and written communicator with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Knowledge and understanding of basic business strategy concepts and why some businesses succeed, and others fail.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and good ability to structure and frame solutions
  • Project management delivery
  • Ability to work at pace whilst prioritising effectively across multiple concurrent demands.
What you’ll get for this role:
  • Starting salary from Circa £60,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
