It is now a requirement to be registered with Social Care Wales, to work as a Care Worker.
We need a dedicated individual who is, passionate in providing care and support to service users in the Newport area.
For this particular client, you will be working in a nursing home with residents, who have mental health conditions; this will include dementia. This home is set in its own grounds, with a secure garden with a lovely view, for residents and visitors to enjoy and enjoy the sunshine. The home also has, well-furnished lounges and dining areas; in which the residents, can take part in enrichment activities and socialise.
The aim of this home is to deliver high-quality person-centred care to residents, enabling them to live an enriched and fulfilling life.
As this role involves working with potentially vulnerable individuals, a minimum of 6 months care experience is essential.
