Coffee Shop Assistant

Bake & Brew is a smal independant coffee shop situated on a busy road with high foot fall.

We are a small team that love what we do and are looking for someone like minded to join our little crew.

An exciting opportunity has opened up at out Cheltenham Store for a Barista & Store assistant. The work will be varied as would be expected within a small team as we all do a little bit of everything to balance the workload and make shift cover easier. Along wide serving fantastic cups of coffee you will be trained in the making of all our homemade sausage rolls & scotch eggs. You will also be shown and taught how to make all of the dishes on our menu, this is basic breakfast food such as bacon & eggs on toast, porridge and toast.

Maintaining our five star food hygiene status is also highly important to us as a team. Filling in of daily paper work as well as undertaking daily and deep cleaning jobs.

We are open from 7am - 4pm (8am at the weekends) so 6.30am starts are a must but the usual finish time is 4.30pm. This means no split shifts or evening shifts.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast paced environment and in a timely and organised manner. Engaging with customers is also very important to us. Must be comfortable working independently and be a self-motivated individual.

Once fully trained up we would ideally like somebody that would be confident in managing stock levels, stock rotation and placing orders.

Free meal & excellent coffee & tea on shift. Pay review after successful completion of a 3 month probationary period.
