Bakery Cafe Assistant

Bakery on the Water & Bakery on the Hill are family-run Artisan Bakery & Cafés based in Bouton on the Water and Burford. We hand-make and bake fresh bread, pastries, cakes, quiches, and many more delicious products all day, with a passion for traditional and quality bakery produce.

This Burford role will involve serving customers, making-up trays, making drinks, clearing tables, running the dishwasher, learning how to get the shop ready in the morning or closing and cleaning down in the afternoon.

The work is fast paced for much of the day so it is essential that we work quickly but with good attention to detail.

The successful applicant will need to be reliable, friendly and customer-focused and enjoy working within a small team. Previous experience in serving customers, making drinks etc will be an advantage but training will be available if required.

We anticipate requiring 4 shifts per week, one of which would be at the weekend. Start times are likely to be between 8.00 - 9.00am and finish time around 5.30pm.
