Private Banker – International Partners Team

As a Barclays Private Banker – International Partners Team, you will be offering bespoke banking and investment solutions to ultra-high net worth clients. We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager.
What will you be doing?
• Working in partnership with the Private Bankers in other offshore locations to assist in new client acquisition, new asset acquisition, credit acquisition, revenue generation
  • Maintaining the highest levels of client service and delivery
  • Acting as key contact for banking products, credit advice and client queries for the London platform
  • Delivering high quality bespoke advice, maximising value for our clients and negotiating the best commercial outcome
  • Being the key interface between the client and other parts of the Barclays group, including wealth Advisory, discretionary Portfolio Management, Investment Advisory
  • Providing the client with world class financial solutions discussing markets, their issues and opportunities with clients
  • Utilising the banker toolset, systems and platforms, and challenge current standards to continuously improve quality
  • Engaging with digital technologies, products and solutions that are relevant to Wealth business, and using them to enhance the service provided to clients
What we’re looking for:
• Excellent relationship skills and experience of managing the needs of private client individuals and families
  • Experience in handling risk within a client book, effective in gaining a deep knowledge of clients’ needs and advising on a diverse range of wealth management solutions
  • Experience of the Financial Services industry, some experience in areas of Retail regulated products/ services to mass market, high net worth customers, asset management
  • Ability to maintain a full, up to date understanding of the general financial markets’ dynamics and current financial concepts

Skills that will help you in the role:
• RDR level four qualified qualification is preferred
