As a Barclays Support Team Executive this is an exciting opportunity where you will work as part of a larger support team to manage all servicing requirements. You will be primarily focusing on providing effective support to the Barclays Fiduciaries, Funds, Family Office and Local Corporate teams with client service and relationship management delivery. You will deliver key servicing standards that support client retention.

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager.

What will you be doing?
• Maintaining the client satisfaction survey scores by ensuring that client expectations are managed and always met
  • Being a point of contact for team service issues and communicating with/influencing internal and external stakeholders to consistently meet/improve/sustain world class service delivery
  • Managing Relationship Managers in the delivery of service objectives by ensuring client expectations are managed effectively
  • Handling Relationship Managers & Account Executives with servicing of their portfolio of clients
  • Working with colleagues/clients across the business to grow business in pre-defined sectors & jurisdictions including Fiduciaries, Funds, Family Office, and Local Corporate market clients
  • Leading the Relationship Managers and Account Executives with lending activity, ensuring it meets risk and governance guidelines and is delivered within decided service levels
  • Taking ownership of ensuring that controls and checks are in place within the team and regularly undertaken to meet all risk criteria

• Action oriented and organised individual with the ability to handle a number of tasks simultaneously and prioritise accordingly
  • Self-motivated, able to work on their own initiative and remain calm under pressure
  • Good interactive and influencing skills are essential to the role, as well as the ability to work as part of a team
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Skills to demonstrate a logical and structured approach to achieving desired outcomes
  • Good written and oral communication skills with ability to communicate across all levels
  • Ability to display high integrity and confidence due to the sensitive nature of information handled

We have two offices in Guernsey situated in the heart of St Peter Port, the main town on this idyllic Island. The Barclays offices are surrounded by good quality shops and it’s only a 5 minute walk to the beautiful harbour with numerous sea view restaurants and bars.
