Cleaner

Cleaning Operative required to join our friendly Cleaning Team in Whitchurch, Bristol, to help ensure offices are a clean and safe environment for staff to work.

Permanent role; 15 hours per week, 17:30 – 20:30, Monday to Friday.

Salary: £10.00 per hour (approximate annual salary: £7,800)

Full leave entitlement (pro rata for first year).

Key Responsibilities will include undertaking a range of cleaning activities such as:

• Cleaning of floors; to include sweeping, mopping and vacuuming
• Surface cleaning; including tables, desks, fixtures and fittings
• Cleaning washroom areas, including toilets, sinks etc.
• Removing waste/rubbish to designated areas
• Replenishing of supplies, e.g. toilet roll, hand soaps, hand towels and refuse sacks.
• Reporting any issues to the Supervisor

Tasks will be carried out under the day-to-day supervision of the Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for carrying out cleaning at the site either individually or as part of a team, following our prepared schedules and agreed standards.

You will be responsible for carrying out all cleaning using materials and equipment in a safe and proper manner, including following processes on the use and safe storage of cleaning chemicals. On a day-to-day basis you will need to move cleaning equipment and materials, therefore, the ideal applicant will be able to bend, crouch and lift regularly.

The successful applicant will receive training, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and a uniform.
