Shop Assistant

Sales Assistant needed for school uniform shop in Watford Town Centre.

We are looking for an enthusiastic new member of staff to join our family run business based in Watford. We would like someone who is friendly, confident and eager to learn with great people and organisational skills.

Previous retail experience and knowledge of the retail/schoolwear industry is an advantage but full training will be given. Candidates need to have excellent attention to detail, be ultra-organised, computer literate and be comfortable dealing with the general public. The ability to work on your own initiative is essential for this role.

Full time or part time available and may include weekends when required. Salary according to age and experience - excellent opportunities for progression for the right applicant.

Duties Include:

• Kitting out children for school
• Shop and window display
• Merchandising
• Tidying Shop
• Replenishing Stock
• Tidying stock away
• Assisting customers on the phone

We are looking for someone who is used to working in a small team with a ‘nothing is too much trouble’ attitude. Applicants should enjoy working with children and families, be friendly and outgoing.

We run a happy & friendly store and need someone able to fit right in and join us!
