Position Overview & Specifications
The successful candidate will join the multi-disciplinary team and play a role in supporting the delivery of the structured clinical programme and psychological provision for the service. This may include supporting assessments, the effective use of routine outcome measures, and direct individual, group and/or family work, under appropriate supervision. The role may include contributing to multiagency meetings, clinical administration, audit and service development, and the training of others.
A good understanding of clinical risk and safeguarding in the context of child and adolescent mental health is essential. Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust has a strong assistant psychology network and is supportive of continuing professional development.
Interview Date will be 5th April 2023
- Supporting the delivery of clinical assessments, formulations, and individual/group/family interventions
- Supporting the effective use of routine outcome measures
- Working effectively as a member of the multidisciplinary team
- Working under appropriate clinical supervision
- Supporting quality improvement initiatives and conduct audits as appropriate
- Assisting with the efficient running of the service, including appropriate clinical administration

1. Psychology degree (upper second or higher) and eligibility for graduate membership with the British Psychological Society
2. Experience of, and a passion for, working with children and young people
3. Excellent communication skills
