Cash and Carry Operative - Picker (Bestway Enfield)

This is an exciting opportunity to join the industry leading and award winning Bestway sales team working in the contract department, as a Cash and Carry Operative.

About the Role:

You will be joining the ‘Grocer’s Logistic Supplier of the Year Winner’ (2019).

Your main responsibility is to deliver a fantastic service to our customer base working in Bestway Enfield preparing our orders prior to delivery to customers.

Working within a small but dynamic team, this is a key role, where you will also be part of the UK’s largest independent food and drinks wholesale group. We are proud of the excellent service we are able to offer our customers, this role is integral to our success.

• Full Time Monday - Friday
• £21,274.50 basic salary with an OTE of £22,574.50

Your training programme will give you all the skills, knowledge and confidence you will need to succeed. The role involves managing the orders for the contract team from placement through to loading the vans for delivery.

About You:

You will know what great service looks like and share our passion for fulfilling the customer orders in a timely manner. Working closely with the Contract Account Managers and the Contract Depot Coordinator / Driver and all the relevant depot staff. The C&C operative will be responsible for picking orders, wrapping and weighing, completing paperwork, helping to load vans prior to delivery. Contact with customers who visit the depot will also be required. This is an essential role within the Contract Team who together will plan deliveries to ensure the attainment of targets, it is also a physical job as it involves picking a large quantity of stock daily. It will be beneficial if you have experience of working in depot and a fork lift truck licence (not essential).
