Cleaning Manager

Location: Uttoxeter / Rocester

We are looking for a Cleaning Manager to join our onsite team in Rocester.

As the Cleaning Manager, you’ll be the first point of contact for our client so being customer focused. You’ll play a crucial role in the day-to-day management of all services provided onsite, providing direction, guidance, training and support to all employees on site.

Key Accountabilities

• To develop and maintain a professional and proactive business relationship with all levels of client’s representatives, promoting the Company and development of services.
• Ensure that the cleaning specification for each contract is fully implemented and adhered to.
• Ensure that a consistently high cleaning standard is delivered.
• Undertake all customer queries and complaints are recorded and dealt with in a timely and effective manner and that the client is kept fully informed of any action taken.
• Identify opportunities for new business, additions to daily cleaning services and non-contractual works.
• Develop the skill base of the hygiene team to ensure the full potential of all direct reports, including individual development plans using the companies training department & external training consultants.
• Create and encourage a team ethos approach whilst promoting a harmonious working environment.
• Control and reduce labour turnover by effective recruitment and training.
• Completion & submission of all documentation inline with agreed deadlines.
• Completion & authorisation of time sheets & payroll documents in accordance with company procedure.

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience within a similar role
• Experience leading a team
