Job description: Production Operators / Handyman

BioToolomics develop and manufacture process chromatography products used for the separation and purification of biological materials e.g. proteins, enzymes, antibodies and viruses etc. The business is located at Consett, County Durham, with easy public transport from Newcastle, Durham or Sunderland.

We develop and manufacture a broad range of scalable process chromatography media and disposable columns for various purification applications.

We look for handyman and production operative type of roles to support our ongoing development and production activities. The roles will involve preparing, assembling and processing plastics or polymer materials.

Applicants should have good experiences in practical work with chemical, mechanical or engineering backgrounds. Full train will be provided. Candidates with the following personal qualities are encouraged to apply: practical, hard working, willing to learn new skills, self-motivative, easy going and team spirit.

The positions are available on agreed dates. Wages plus pension contribution from employer will be discussed during interviews, depending on individual working experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 37.5 per week

Pay: Up to £25,000.00 per year
