Birchdale Vending Services Ltd is a small family run Vending Company based in Cheadle, Greater Manchester. Due to continued growth we now have a vacancy for an experienced Vending Machine Operator/ Warehouse Operative/ Delivery Driver
Typical duties will include:
- Operating of Vending Machines -Stock vending machines with products, including snacks, drinks, and other items as required
- Monitor inventory levels and restock machines as needed
- Perform routine maintenance on vending machines, including cleaning and servicing as needed
- Respond to customer complaints or issues with machines, and resolve them in a timely manner
- Assisting in the preparation, delivery and installation of vending machines
- Unload deliveries from suppliers
- Picking and packing of customers orders
- Delivering customer orders
- Keeping the Warehouse clean and tidy
Flexibility is key as in addition you will be providing cover for holidays in other areas of the business as and when required.
You will ideally be located Stockport/Manchester/Cheshire area and be willing to cover work across this area and beyond.
Candidate's skills and requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Enthusiastic and excellent communicator
- Flexible with a proactive can-do attitude
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance on vending machines
- Ability to lift and move heavy items, such as cases of drinks or snacks
- PC Literate
- Presentable and polite
- Good computer skills
The Package £21,840 Basic Salary Standard working hour 08:00 – 16:30 Mon – Fri occasional Weekend work Company van work Pension scheme 20 days’ holiday + bank holidays
