Warehouse Assistant

Blackout was founded in 1990 as a supplier of drapes, rigging and starcloth to events, conferences, concerts, exhibitions, theatre, film and television and we are looking to increase our Warehouse Team as we continue to grow. This fast paced, dynamic team work throughout the Warehouse, in a variety of areas ensuring that no 2 days are exactly the same!

• Core working hours 09:00 - 17:30, Monday to Friday
• 37.5 hours working week
• Initial salary £11.00 per hour. After probation £12.30 per hour. Overtime paid at time and a half.
• 20 days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL BE:

• A Team player.

• Fit with the ability to lift heavy items.
• Willing to work overtime on occasion
• Live locally to SW19

THE ROLE ENTAILS:

• Vehicle loading/unloading.
• Drape cleaning and folding.
• Accurate order picking to schedule.
• Prompt and efficient off-hire checking.
• Stock checks as required.
• General housekeeping of department.
• Maintain safe working practices in line with company policy.
• Undertake job swaps to assist other departments as necessary.
