We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Data Analyst to join our growing digital transformation team.
The role
As Business Data Analyst you will lead on the creation of insightful, interactive, and aesthetically pleasing reporting solutions built in the Power BI platform defining key metrics.

Key duties:

• Gathering and capturing business and end user requirements and translating them into workable solutions to be presented to internal stakeholders.
• Creating processes to ingest data from a variety of data sources and perform the required transformations in Power Query and DAX.
• Conducting validation of data / reporting solutions to ensure accuracy of data presented.
• Identifying solution optimisation in relation to reports, data sets and processes.
• Troubleshooting and timely resolution of issues reported to the service desk related to reporting solutions.

What are we looking for?
Key skills

• Degree educated or relevant Microsoft certification.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar role.
• Strong Power BI development skills.
• Experience of Power Query and DAX.
• Strong SQL and Excel analytical skills.
• Understanding of Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse and Data Lake concepts.
• Experience of capturing business requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Stakeholder management experience.
