Security Officer - Nights

Welcome to Blayde Security Limited

We are currently hiring for 1 x night security officer. You will need to have your own form of transport or be able to reliably commute to work, hold a valid SIA badge; either DS or SG minimum. In this role you will be the main point of contact for a busy transportation hub in Portsmouth. Safety is the key responsibility and you will need to be able to clearly but politely direct public to safely navigate the site.

Shifts: Nights on a 4of 4off pattern.
Times: 19:00 - 07:00
Pay: £12.00ph
Uniform: Provided
Parking: Free
Employment: PAYE

General duties to expect, include but not limited to:

• Access control
• Report writing
• To understand and follow Site Assignment Instructions
• Act as main point of call
• Internal & external patrols
• Support staff where necessary
• Deter anti-social behaviors
• Working alone
• Working within a team
• Frontline customer service

Every role pays well above the national living wage rates. We would be very interested in supporting young and newly qualified entrants to the security industry as well as those with experience.

Full training will be given as well as access to the work place pension scheme and 24/7 support from our control rooms.

• 12 hour shift
• Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Portsmouth, PO1 3PA: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• security: 1 year (preferred)

• SIA Licence (required)
• First Aid Certification (preferred)
