Part-time Parcel Sorters - Alfreton

Location: Alfreton, North Derbyshire
Pay rate: £13.50 per hour
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 03.30am - 07.15am

We are currently recruiting for experienced Parcel sorters for one of the clients based in Alfreton, North Derbyshire. It would be working in a fast-paced environment, therefore we are looking for someone who is target driven and has previous experience in parcel sorting or similar environment.

Main responsibilities:

• Loading and Unloading Trailers
• The role will require you to scan parcels ready for shipment, using computers and hand held scanners.
• You will move items around the warehouse safely and sort through parcels in the package centre to correct stations for distribution
• You would be required to load small and large parcels along with parcels bags on to vans ready for distribution.

Requirements:

• Previous or similar experience in warehouse/parcel sorting environment
• Ability to work to targets in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent punctuality and organisational skills
• Travel to Alfreton

Travelling to Alfreton from Derby:
There are bus routes available and take roughly an hour travel time from Derby city centre. If you live local to Alfreton or North Derbyshire the bus stops are walking distance to the warehouse.
