Business Analyst

We have a fantastic 12 month maternity cover opportunity for an experienced Business Analys. This role sits within our IT team, will be wholly based here at our Support Centre in Speke, Liverpool L24 and reports into our Solutions Delivery Manager.

We’re a FTSE 100, £multi-million retail business with over 700 stores in the UK. We’re extremely fast-paced and we need an agile BA to come in and align very quickly to work on some exciting projects.

In this role at any level, you will:

• Collate requirements from multiple points around the business, documenting and communicating these reliably and accurately to the wider team including direct communication with developers
• Be the key colleague in scoping, assessing, and prioritising projects and components for large scale, high impact development projects
• Able to present project work to the wider team for development, and will see these projects through to completion, providing additional support as required
• Play a key role in the coordination and successful execution of user acceptance testing and rollout of changes

A bit about you:

• We are seeking a focused, engaging and methodical Business Analyst with first-rate communication skills
• Business Analyst by title and definition and preferably already having worked in a retail environment but equally fast-paced environments if not.
• You will have worked in multi-disciplined teams that are a mix of business, delivery and technical roles
• Practical experience of working with a variety of methodologies
• The ability to work within a multifaceted and changing environment where priorities and activities will be changing is vital.
• You will be able to respond energetically and proactively to drive change at a fast pace to help deliver the business strategy
• Confident in demonstrating a strong delivery ethic using a variety of delivery principles
• Approachable, engaging and able to influence with rationale based on fact and not afraid to question and challenge
