BorgWarner’s Fuel Systems and Aftermarket business (“PHINIA”) is intended to separate from BorgWarner in late 2023

PHINIA will be a product leader in fuel systems and aftermarket distribution with balanced and synergistic exposure among Commercial Vehicle (CV), Light Vehicle (LV) and Aftermarket end markets, with embedded relationships with global OEMs and a focus on the global vehicle parc.

As well as being an industry leader in combustion technologies and chassis systems PHINIA will also be driving the transition to green fuels and hydrogen combustion by developing effective solutions to decarbonize the future of transportation.

The Delphi Technologies Academy is an Award-Winning automotive training centre based in Warwick that specialises in IMI accredited training routes and Alternative Fuel Technology Training e.g. EV, Hybrid, Hydrogen.
As an automotive technical trainer, you will be expected to provide class leading training sessions within the centre to our customers and end users with all aspects of our product range and other subjects. The candidate should be comfortable in working in a proactive, busy, fun and varied environment. The training centre is undergoing rapid expansion and is in the process of doubling the size of the existing facility to accommodate our current training strategy.

• To train aftermarket customers in all aspects of technical vehicle repair to include:
  > Diesel diagnostics
  > Petrol Engine management
  > Exhaust emissions and after treatment
• Tyre fitting and balancing
• Air Conditioning Diagnostic and Service
• Hybrid and electric vehicles
• ADAS diagnosis and calibration
• Vehicle Electrics - from basic relays to CAN system diagnosis
• Steering and suspension
• To support the UK sales team with technical and product information for national and local events.
• Support the E-Learning platform for video content and administration
• Vehicle Fleet Management including setting up for assessments and simulating real world fault from experience.
• Own and Develop new course material and update existing material.
• Develop online training material through an established system to complement practical and theory training.
• Train internal staff on our product ranges in a fun, simple and informative manner.
• Maintain the workshop in a clean and safe manner
• Carry out administrative tasks relating to courses I.E – Marking Coursework, preparing for audits and registering new students.
