Position Overview & Specifications

Bouygues UK have an exciting opportunity for an experienced M&E professional (Electrical bias) to join us as a Building Services Manager . In this role you will cover multiple residential sites, overseeing them at the various stages of production. M&E people on the sites who would report to you. You will also be involved in Pre-Con Tenders and Bids and be involved in the strategising for resourcing and procurement.

Essential

  • Relevant Building Services qualification (or equivalent), bias towards Electrical with good understanding of both disciplines
  • Residential sector experience
  • Experience working with a main contractor or large M&E subcontractor
  • Previous experience of overseeing M&E subcontractors
  • Experience in contract management/understand commercial aspects
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Results driven
  • I.T. Literate

Job Purpose and Scope:

Provide a consistent, reliable services to site teams across the Bouygues-UK business. To advise and inform the Residential Operations Director of exceptions and or key issues of concern. To coordinate and control the installation of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health services including their specialist engineering sub-contractors , providing specialist input at every phase of a project from bid stage through to construction including commissioning, hand over and user group training management. To take responsibility for ensuring that Mechanical, Electrical and PH works undertaken on site are completed safely maintaining quality, programme and cost.
