Position Overview & Specifications

Job Title: Business Data Analyst (Everstream)

Job Location: Pangbourne, Reading (Hybrid)

Industry: Oil and Energy, Data

Contract Length: 6 months

Key Requirement: Working with new tools/systems, Power BI & Excel SME

Daily Rate: £450 - £500

Summary and Key responsibilities:
Customisation and analysis of the digital Risk Management and geospatial mapping of the Supply Chain (Everstream tool).
Mapping and create connectivity with internal/external data.
Development & Creation of Power BI/Excel reports that can support the insights provided by the external digital tool.
Support GSRM on development of Everstream process management & protocols, integrating information with business needs and tracking agreed resulting actions.
Understanding of the Everstream tool with training and continuous analysis.
Engaging with the appropriate stakeholders in line with timing expectations.

Key Responsibilities

To seek out, recommend and execute improvement to the tool as knowledge develops.
To work with analysts and GSRM to generate usable category insights using the data in the tool.
To ensure the operation of the Everstream tool meets with the requirements of the Castrol Direct Procurement team.
Create mapping flows with roles and responsibilities supporting business risk management.

Skills/Experience

Proven track record of researching info in new applications and analytical skills.
Experience of working with remote stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
Proven ability in sharing analytical outcomes through Power BI and Excel, with a focus on process development.
The role may require the ability to perform the same task repetitively with consistent accuracy & results.
