Position Overview & Specifications

Overview

You will be supporting the Completions team through the purchase process - from offer accepted to exchange and completion - reviewing both physical and legal diligence, surveys, schedules of works and conveyancing documents.

You’ll also gain exposure to cutting edge machine learning technology, helping the team to achieve ambitious completion targets and ultimately revolutionise investment in residential property.

Key Responsibilities

Dealing with purchase matters, to include:

  • Liaise with estate agents, lawyers and any other third parties confidently on the telephone, giving advice, providing clear, accurate and up to date information and negotiating solutions to problems
  • Liaising with Solicitors on both sale and purchase matters.
  • Contacting Agents to progress active conveyancing transactions.
  • Obtaining all required documentation from the client, sellers and third parties.
  • Reviewing conveyancing documents and property reports.
  • Checking completion statements, and dealing with the financial calculations relating to the same as required by the team.
  • Reviewing legal due diligence to include final reports, searches, transaction forms and compliance documents.
  • Preparing completion batches for client approval.
  • Assisting in compiling the requests for funds.
  • Dealing with all appropriate Notices/Deeds – Post Completion.
  • Ensuring the timely transfer of files following completion.

Assisting with Sales files, including:

  • Obtaining initial documentation.
  • Collating contract packs.
  • Assisting the Solicitors in replying to enquiries.

Day to Day:

  • Updating the CRM system and portals.
  • Sorting and storing property files in online cloud storage. Ensuring all files comply with the company policies.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 2+ years experience in conveyancing/property transactions
  • Technical knowledge of a conveyancing transaction
  • Technical knowledge of the property market, including the buy to let market
  • Beneficial to have Sales Progression experience (not essential)
  • You are brilliant at building relationships, ensuring your written and verbal communication suits the audience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple workflows; will be working on several pipelines scaling across multiple future mandates.
  • Proficient with Google Workspace, Microsoft Word, and Excel preferred.
