Brimchalk Healthcare has various Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers roles in Wiltshire and surrounding areas. Brimchalk Healthcare offers competitive hourly rates. These roles are on permanent and part-time basis and paid weekly/monthly.
Brimchalk Healthcare seeks Senior Care Assistants - To assist with:
- Service Users' activities of daily living and personal care,
- Supervising a team of carers, providing support and assistance, ensuring supplies such as the PPE and other requirements are at the correct levels,
- Carry out spot checks on Home Carers,
- Complete reviews and assessments on Service Users as and when required, including care plans,
- Reporting any issues to the management team,
- Complete and maintain records of daily activities, observations, and direct hours of service, Ensure service is delivered in accordance with all relevant policies, procedures and practices,
- Carry out duties as assigned by the Registered Manager, including administration of medication,
- Attend induction, in-house training sessions and staff meetings.
Applicants must have:
- The right to work in the UK (Sponsorship will be considered)
- Valid DBS on update service (if not then a new one will be applied for) or overseas police clearance certificate
- 2 References covering the past 5 years including most recent/current employer
- Up to date mandatory training evidenced by certificates from certified training companies.
- Care Certificate or willingness to undertake.
- NVQ 3 or willingness to undertake
- Driving license will be advantageous
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract
Salary: £11.50-£14.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
COVID-19 considerations:
Following government (Department of Health) guidance.
Staff will be provided with PPE.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Wiltshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Care Assistants: 1 year (required)
