An exciting opportunity to lead Bristol’s Family Hub and Start for Life transformation.

As part of a new government funded programme, Bristol City Council is seeking an experienced system leader, to develop and deliver the Family Hub and Start for Life transformation plan for children, young people and families (0-25) across Bristol’s localities.

Family Hubs will provide a universal ‘front door’ to families, offering a ‘one-stop-shop’ for a wide range of support including health, education, parenting, and mental health and well-being services with a comprehensive Start for Life offer for parents and babies at its core.

This newly created role, will have a single focus on service design and delivery and be responsible for driving forward complex system development and change, ensuring the provision of high-quality services that meet the programme’s performance outcomes.

With a proven track record of leading within early help, education, health or care services, you will be a champion for early help and support for children and families, in particular Bristol’s underserved population and those families facing the greatest challenges.

You will be committed to work in co-production and understand the importance of the voice of the family being at the centre of developments and change as well as effectively establishing and nurturing strong partnerships across a range of organisations.

The role will implement, at pace, transformation from Bristol’s existing model to a joined up and enhanced offer through family hubs across the city, ensuring parents and carers can access the support they need, when they need it.

Please note that this role is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.
